You can donate even if you don’t have library fines.
Donate any unexpired non-perishable food, household item, or cash to the Lonsdale Area Food Shelf and we will waive up to $10 in late fees from our library. Our Food for Fines program goes until Saturday, November 6, so hurry in to get those fines waived!
Do you have books that you’re looking to get rid of? As long as they are in good condition and are not reference materials, consider donating them to us! The books that don’t get added to our shelves may be sold at our book sale in February. The funds from the sale will go towards programming for people of all ages. Did I mention that your donation is tax-deductible? To donate, simply bring in the books during our normal library hours. (No after-hours drop offs, please)
The Final Drop in craft of the summer will send the kids back to school in style! Stop in and make our bird pencil topper, and use it to top one of our Lonsdale Public Library pencils! (while supplies last)
Puppets that move are always so much fun! This week’s craft uses clothespins to create a puppetwith a moving mouth for either a unicorn or a dragon. Just color, cut, and glue, and soon you’ll have your very own. All supplies are provided.
